Tolerance CentersThe Climate of Trust carries out its mission largely through the work of our Regional Tolerance Centers (RTCs). These are places where religious and ethnic community leaders, human rights advocates, educators, police, and lawmakers, undertake long-term projects building trust and mutual respect, ethnic and religious tolerance and systemic change.
We now have five Regional Tolerance Centers working actively in the Northwestern (St. Petersburg RTC), (Novgorod RTC), Volga (Kazan RTC), Central (Ryazan RTC), and Southern (Stavropol RTC) Federal Districts of Russia. Currently, the Climate of Trust is working to launch its sixth RTC in Rostov-na-Donu. The following is a summary of their recent activities.
